Zero USV, UK-based developer of USVs, names Leeway Marine as its first international franchisee for the Oceanus12 charter fleet in North America. Oceanus12 is a fully autonomous next-generation USV with hybrid-electric propulsion, Marine AI autonomy, and designed to be multi-role. This partnership accelerates ZeroUSV’s capability to meet the surging demand for high-endurance, over-the-horizon autonomous vessel deployment, from Hydrography and Bathymetry survey work, to defence and border control.
This partnership responds to the growing demand for high-endurance, over-the-horizon USV operations, including applications in hydrography, defence, border security, and environmental monitoring. By working with Leeway Marine, a trusted name in the Canadian maritime sector, Zero USV can deliver Autonomous Vessel solutions with local expertise, ensuring seamless integration and operational effectiveness.
Zero USV's first charter fleet vessel arrived on-site at its' homeport of Turnchapel Wharf in March 2025 ahead of testing and commissioning before deployment.
